At Stamford Free Church (Baptist) we would love to see you at one of our Sunday Services. There is a large car park, level access to the building and a toilet for disabled.
- Sunday worship 10.30 am
We have a wide variety of regular speakers from other churches and from within our own fellowship so the type of service varies from week to week.
At least once a month we celebrate communion and all are welcome to participate according to their own conscience.
At the end of the service coffee, tea and biscuits (and sometimes cake) are served. We also share lunch together a number of times throughout the year.
- Tuesday 12.30 pm
Soup Hub. A free soup lunch provided by the local Food Hub.
- Tuesday 2.00 pm
An opportunity to get on with some of your own craft-work or other creative project in the company of like-minded people. Alternatively, join in with others to play board games, or just chat. Tea and cake served!
- Thursday 10.30 am
Bible study in the Prayer Room. All welcome.
- Friday
The Men's Group meet on a Friday evening each month at 6.30 for a meal followed by a talk or video discussion. Men are welcome to come for both the meal and discussion, or arrive just for the discussion. Contact John Chambers.
The church has a table tennis team which plays in the Stamford and Rutland League on Monday evenings during the winter months.
We are a Fairtrade Church
Other charities which we support include Tearfund, Open Doors, Rural Mission Solutions and The Leprosy Mission.
