John Chambers (Church Elder) preaches regularly, plays the piano and oversees the church programme. He studied theology with the Baptist Union of Great Britain and St John's College Nottingham. A trained librarian, John previously managed Stamford Christian Book Centre ('The Ark') and gives piano tuition. He plays league table tennis for the Free Church team.
Revd May Lloyd (Church Elder) regularly preaches, leads a homegroup and takes joint pastoral leadership. Before moving to Stamford May ministered in Manchester and has been involved in the work of the Leprosy Mission, of which her late husband Tony was the Director. May hosts the Men's Group, is a keen gardener and a Cambridge Board examiner.

Revd Robert van der Weyer, a retired Anglican minister serving in Cambridgeshire. He formerly led the Little Gidding Community and has lectured in Cambridge on economics and philosophy. He has also broadcast regularly for the BBC and is the author of more than 50 books.
David West
David West was Born in London and went to London Bible College before serving on the staff of The Bible Institute in Glasgow. He has ministered at Albany Park Baptist Church, Lymm Baptist in Cheshire, Bramley Baptist( Leeds) and Salendine Nook Baptist before becoming a full time chaplain at Nottingham City Hospital until retirement and moving to Grantham to be near his daughter and family.
David appreciates art of all kinds, reads a lot of fiction - including Dickens, the Brontes and Conan-Doyle, likes Rachmaninov, Kathryn Jenkins and Clare Teal. He is a fan of Chelsea and loves cricket having spent many happy days at the Oval.
David adds, "My passion is to share Bible stories in Primary schools through the Bible Society's initiative Open the Book. Teams of us go into primary schools, dress up and enact Bible stories during collective worship.It is so rewarding and great fun!"
